What Most People Miss About What A Hiring Manager Wants
**Everyone knows you should Google yourself to see what Google says about you, but there’s more you need to be doing to make sure your online presence is right. I’m Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter. People hire me for nos job search coaching and career advice globally because I make the process of finding work and succeeding at it much easier. You can visit jobsarch.com community where I’ve got great information to help you.
Now, what should you be doing? Start using AI to look yourself up. Now, if you’ve got a common name, what you can do very simply is give it some extra information about you. Maybe where you work, whatever it is, maybe the town you live in, something to see what surfaces. Unlike with Google, it’s easy to make a correction. Just tell it that it’s wrong about something and that it should remove it, and invariably it does. I know it’s done that for me in the early days when I started to check with chat GPT about what it said about me before they came out with web search.
So very simply, understand that companies are going online to find out information about people. You want to know what’s being said about you proactively so you can get it corrected so that it doesn’t come back to haunt you. Like I said, there’s a lot of great information to help you at jobsarch.com community. Go there. By the way, you can order a resume critique from me. I’d love to view your resume as I have with hundreds of thousands of résumés of people before. Give you advice about changes to make and you can become an insider, get access to all my content and at the higher tiers get the content plus coaching from me.
